What is a motorcycle chain tensioner?

A motorcycle chain tensioner is connected to your bike’s rear, either clost to the monoshock, or more preferably, on the swingarm that is near to the chain sprocket, and its cog is linked ot the chain drive with an adjustment, giving the chain some stretch so that there is optimal tightness and slack to the chain operation.
